Can you just show me how to do that again?

Our training is just... a folder of PDFs.

Every tool your team uses has your SOPs inside

Your team already lives inside QuickBooks, HubSpot, and a dozen other browser tools. CoPilot puts your Whale knowledge base in a sidebar on every web page, so the answer is already there when they need it.

I already explained this three times this week.

We lost that process when Sarah left.

How teams do it today

SOPs that nobody opens because they live in a separate tool

Constant tab-switching to find the right process or policy

New hires tapping colleagues on the shoulder for answers

No way to deliver the right guide at the right moment

With Whale's

Web Extension

Your SOPs appear in the sidebar of every tool they use

Search your knowledge base without leaving the page

Alice, Whale's AI assistant, answers from the sidebar

CoPilot surfaces the right guide based on the page

Your knowledge base, always one click away.

Open CoPilot anywhere on the web to search your full knowledge base, without leaving the page you’re working in. Pin your most-used SOPs for one-click access.

Alice answers inside every tool

Ask Alice a question directly from CoPilot on any web page. Get an answer sourced from your own SOPs in seconds, so your team stops guessing and your experts stop getting interrupted.

Works inside every tool your team uses

Whether your team lives in QuickBooks or any other browser tool, CoPilot works the same way. No integrations to configure. The knowledge base is there the moment the page loads.

How it works

Install CoPilot in your browser

Add CoPilot from the Chrome Web Store and log in with your Whale credentials. Your full knowledge base is available in the sidebar on every page you open.

Access SOPs where you work

Open CoPilot inside whatever tool your team is working in. Browse boards or ask Alice, Whale’s AI assistant, for the answer. No tab switching.

Set up contextual suggestions

Set rules so the right SOP appears automatically based on the page your team is viewing. When someone opens a matching tool, the guide pops up without any searching.

Frequently Asked Questions

CoPilot is available for Chrome and Microsoft Edge, plus other Chromium-based browsers like Brave and Arc. Install it directly from the Chrome Web Store in under a minute. Once installed, log in with your Whale credentials once and CoPilot persists across every tab and browser session until you log out. CoPilot is not currently available for Safari or Firefox. If your team uses those browsers, the Whale web app works as a full alternative for browsing the knowledge base or asking Alice, Whale’s AI assistant, any process question.
Yes. CoPilot works on every web page your team visits. Whether the page is HubSpot, Salesforce, Gmail, Asana, QuickBooks, or an internal tool your team built, CoPilot opens in a sidebar over the top. It does not need to be integrated with the underlying app. It runs in your browser independently, so any web-based tool is automatically compatible. The sidebar can be collapsed when you don’t need it and expanded with one click when you do. Contextual suggestions can be configured per URL pattern, so specific SOPs appear automatically when a matching page loads.
Yes. Contextual suggestions let you define rules based on URL patterns, so specific SOPs appear automatically when your team visits a matching page. You can set rules at the workspace level or at the board level, so different teams see different SOPs on the same page. For example, configure the “closing a deal” SOP to appear whenever a sales rep opens a HubSpot deal record, or configure the “handling a support escalation” SOP to appear when a support agent opens a Zendesk ticket. The rules are editable at any time, and you can preview which SOPs will surface on a given page before you publish.
CoPilot is free to install, and the core browsing and search functionality is available on every Whale plan, including the free tier. Advanced features require a paid plan: contextual suggestions for automated SOP delivery, and Alice, Whale’s AI assistant, for answering questions from your knowledge base. If you want your team to install CoPilot and search the knowledge base without leaving their work, the free plan is enough. If you want the guide to surface automatically based on what page they’re on, or want Alice to answer questions directly from the sidebar, you’ll want a paid plan.
CoPilot only reads page URLs and metadata you explicitly configure for contextual suggestions. It does not transmit or store the content of pages your team visits. The extension runs locally in the browser and only communicates with Whale servers when you search the knowledge base or ask Alice, Whale’s AI assistant, a question. No browsing data is collected or shared. CoPilot is SOC 2 Type II compliant and follows the same security standards as the rest of the Whale platform.
Guru was built as a standalone knowledge card system with a browser extension layer. CoPilot is one feature inside Whale, the AI-Powered SOP Software that gets your team trained. The SOPs your team sees in CoPilot are the same ones assigned in training flows and kept current with expert review cycles. When your team searches or opens a guide in CoPilot, it is the same guide they worked through during onboarding. Whale customers moving from Guru typically cite the value of having training and day-to-day knowledge surfacing in one platform rather than stitched across two.
